Enhanced is the highest level of DBS disclosure, but there are different forms depending on whether the role is also eligible for a check of the Children’s and/or Adults’ Barred List.
The correct check is therefore the highest level the specific role is legally eligible for, rather than simply the highest level an employer would prefer to request.
